It does not update. It says review the log files. Where?
I already rebooted.

I just cleared the cache and it looks like it is updating. Why?

The log file can be accessed by clicking the [View Log] button in either the configuration GUI or the client, or you can right-click the notification tray icon and select 'View Log File'. The ability to view the log is not hidden.
If after clearing the cache, your update was successful, then it sounds like the cache file got corrupted. This scenario is why there is a [Clear Cache] button.
