Guide data only goes to 12/31/2022. Is that a problem?
A week or so ago, I noticed the last date of the EPG guide data was 12/31/22 9pm (PST). Now over a week later, that is still the latest data. Usually the guide goes out for 3 weeks. (I pay for ScheduleDirect and it's good till 10/2023.)
Is this just a temporary situation because of the new year, and newer data (post 12/31/22) will come through? Or do I have a problem?! (If so, please advice how to address it.)
Thanks!

Is the icon on the home screen on WMC red, yellow, or green?
If it's not green, you'd have to post the log entries from the trace.log file for the latest run to tell what the problem is (look at the date to tell if they are from the same run which should have separate entries separated by about 24 hours).
The location of this file is where EPG123 was installed, the default location is C:\ProgramData\GaRyan2\epg123\trace.log.

I am not completely sure if I understand what you're referring to. But if you mean the WMC logo (which is on my taskbar), it has the same color as ever - a green-filled circle with the distorted square with red, blue, green, yellow. It looks normal.
I have to run for some appointments right now, but may be I'll post the trace log later when I get home. THanks for now.

@Space was referencing the EPG123 logo on the WMC home screen. There is also the logo in the notification tray. If either are red, then you need to look at the log file to see what is going on.

I am sorry I am not very versatile here. I am not sure if what I see is a EPG123 logo on the WMC "home screen". I see for a moment a red icon (TV-looking like, with rabbit ears) on the bottom right. Not sure if that's the EPG123 logo. I always thought that's WMC warning about the guide not functional anymore.
Anyway, I also realize that my EPG123 is not up to date. I came across a thread that says that the "the SD access requirements that IIRC require you to be on 1.7.1.8 or later." So that would explain it.
But as I said, I am not versatile. I see the download page https://garyan2.github.io/download.html
I need a little guidance please.
1. I assume I should download Version 1.7.3.0 (and not the Beta 1.7.3.5)?
2. This is the one I would download? epg123Setup_v1.7.3.0.zip (1743) - Installation package for Win7/Win8/Win8.1/Win10
3. Could you refer me to a url that would give me info as to how not to lose all my scheduled recording, (and may be channel info) and anything else I need to know before and post the update?
I really appreciate your help, and appreciate your responses.

That is the EPG123 logo on the home screen to tell you if you updates are good or not. It will disappear if/while you move the mouse.
To update EPG123, just run the downloaded setup file. EPG123 is not embedded in WMC and will not change anything about WMC. Depending on how old your current EPG123 version is, you may need to delete your current scheduled task and create a new one, but otherwise you can just run the setup file and not touch anything else.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your help.
I always that that logo is WMC related. Duh. My bad!
The version I have is from 2020! Yikes.

Updated EPG123 successfully, and all scheduled recordings are there.
In WMC|Tasks|TV|Guide|About Guide Listings, it still says the EPG123 is at "version 1.3.5 (1.7.1 available)" But the Client Tool top left corner tells me I have 1.7.3.
The scheduled task for updating the guide is at midnight, so I'll just let that run later tonight, and trust that the guide will get up to date (21 days forward.) I also assume the "About Guide Listings" will also show that I am at EPB 1.7.3.
If I don't post tomorrow, then all is A-OK. And I thank you again for your prompt help, and being patient with my really basic questions.
Most grateful. And happy holidays!
