I did.
Was just curious if others here have. What few of us left that is...

I purchased 2 and had 1 working. For now I have all three in a drawer and using an IPTV solution.

I bought one. Had been waiting for the Prime 6, but decided buying a second Prime 3 was the best I could do. Not sure I really need 6 tuners of cable + 4 OTA (Quattro 4K), but that is what I now have in service - on Win7MC. Still waiting for DRM recordings on the HDHR DVR (Kickstarter supporter).

Those that have one of these, does it differ from the original model? For instance, is it missing the 3 individual "tuner active" LEDs?

Yes, it is missing the 3 tuner LEDs but that is all I have discovered.Space wrote:Those that have one of these, does it differ from the original model? For instance, is it missing the 3 individual "tuner active" LEDs?

Apparently the Primes haven't had the individual tuner LEDs for several years. So this isn't really a change specific to the new 2020 batch.

Really? I didn't know that. Interesting.
I really like having them, it makes it easy to quickly tell if the DVR is working without having to turn on the TV.

This isn't a "re-release"; it's more of a "we found a bunch of new old stock in a warehouse, and decided to release them to the wild since the 6 tuner model is dead".

My Ceton Infinitv 6 started acting up over the past few days, so I'm considering picking up a couple of Prime 3s. Would my wife's viewing experience be enhanced using the Primes with Windows 10, Kodi, and NextPVR vs the Infinitv, Windows 7, WMC, Kodi, and ServerWMC?

I bought it as soon as it showed up on Amazon. Given the age of my existing Prime3 tuner (and with no other credible CableCARD digital tuners available on the market), I figured it would be worth picking up a spare (in case my existing Prime3 tuner bites the dust [noting: a number of years ago, my neighbor's tree was struck by lightning; and effectively emitted an EMP which blew out my original Ceton ETH6 tuners, Charter/Spectrum Tuning-Adapters, (as well as 3 HD TVs, and a high-end NEC monitor] I've verified the new tuner functions properly (and have chosen to store in a steel fireproof/waterproof safe to retain as a replacement, if my existing Prime3 tuner craps out).
Note: Now that I've verified that the newly bought Prime3 functions properly, I'm tempted to purchase another (to actually put in service on home-network to get back to a total of 6 available tuners) I so miss the Ceton ETH6 tuners (a bit finicky, but at one point, I had a total of 12 tuners operational in the house; those were good times)
Running 2 Home-Theater PCs (Win7) along with 4 Ceton Echos. Subscription just renewed for another year with Schedules Direct (and use EPG123 on nightly cron-job to updated 21-days/worth of guide-data). Long live Win7 WMC!!

I just bought one from Amazon since lost the previous one due to Lightening strike. Now it has 2 green lights. Only 2 of the 3 tuners work. Do you think its because of the cable card or some epg123 software upgrade? Could try either, but a pain to remove/reinstall & call cable co. Anyone have a simple solution?
