Hey there fellow WMC faithful's. I am still going strong with my WMC and 3 Echos. They were the best extender to make it to market even with there problems. I purchased a new one on ebay a few years back as a back up. Sealed box. Just opened it to use it and found the starry background
. Anyway, when it boots up it shows a version unknown. Problem with this unit is that when trying to watch a channel that is "protected" I get an error saying permission don't allow for extenders to play protected content. Which is not true. Anyone know what the fix for this maybe? My other echos work fine.
