If you're replying to my post... I said I could "view" H265 files, not record them.

Just an FYI... I too am looking into Plex as an alternative - I do have a Plex pass - so far recording does work however the CPU maxes with 2 simultaneous recordings, with WMC I've recorded up to 6 simultaneous recordings and still had CPU headroom. As far as ATSC3 goes it doesn't look good for WMC unless someone can figure out a work-around.
