Hi All,
I ran into an issue with my HRHRPrime tonight that I had not run into before. I'm just checking to see if there is anything I should look out for or check on to make sure it doesn't happen again.
I had 2 simultaneous recordings tonight. I have Time Warner which requires use of a TA. One...

The installer includes the setup/QuickTV software, firmware, and a driver. I think the best course of action is use the April installer. I have been using it since it was released and it has been rock solid.

Is there a alternative setup for QAM Channels in Media center? QAM HD is like channel 2.1(cbs), Is there a way to edit it so it looks something like 502(hd cbs on fios)?

After updating my ceton firmware today. I had to go through this again. Unfortunately this great problem no longer works as it can't detect the ceton card.

When I tune a channel on my HDHR-Prime after not using it for awhile (not sure actual length) I get a pop-up for 3-5 seconds saying HDCP support is required. After a few seconds it goes away and the station plays fine. Also, I can swap between channels fine after that initial pop-up. The TV is a...

That would be good info. Almost all my TV's have a prefered port for HDMI from a PC that is handled a little differently form the other HDMI ports. Some are clearly maked on the tv as HDMI/DVI on some you have to look in the manual to get the info.

I recently installed HD Prime to be able to record programs in WMC. All channels are playing smoothly in Quick TV but there is a range of channels that are glitchy--speeding up stopping and stuttering in WMC. I've been working with Silicondust's Support Center and after a week of back and forth...

You should definitely try the latest Intel drivers and turn off post-processing settings such as dynamic contrast.
I can't find where to cut off dynamic contrast. I found a YouTube video showing to turn off Adaptive Contrast Enhancement on the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel. i found the...

Any help appreciated- just in the process of moving from a Sony XL100 which had space for two PCI tv tuner cards, to a ASRock Vision 2nd gen version which has no room for any tuners (or 6TB of HDs, but got a WHS for that!).
So are there any HD options out there, Freeview HD or Freesat HD,...

Just a very belated thank you Tony. I did indeed use DVB logic and it has kind of worked - although I am struggling after a fresh reinstall on my HTPC. I thought I was ok with PCs, but I think I need Stephen Hawking 's help with it at times.....!

Hi all,
I was looking at the logs in my HDHR Prime today. It looks like it was reset/rebooted around 4am on Tuesday morning. I don't recall any power outages, and I definitely wasn't awake unplugging stuff at that hour. The following appears in the first line of the Log History in my HDHR Prime....

Quick background:
Before purchasing the HDHRPrime, I borrowed a Hauppauge 1250 from a buddy for about a month to test if I would like WMC7. I installed a fresh copy of Win7 x64 specfically for the purpose of WMC. With the PCIe card, the PC would sleep and wake when called by my XBox. It would wake...

Ultimately, i do want to get the HDHR software and drivers working. However, this is an easy way to rule out (or blame) the drivers as the cause. Since I just got it up and going a few days ago, it's not like I'm losing a ton of work and configuration by doing this.
I know that I have never touched...

Well, just looking at amazon, the old one is not being sold officially by amazon anymore, so the price is from some random joe shmoe tech seller, who pushed up the price to 199.Official retail should be $150.

Anyone tried both? I have had my HD Homerun for about 2 or 3 years, and it has been pretty stable. I have the occasional dropouts, but am not sure if it is the tuner or the antennas.

I am having issues with the local guide for 55444 zip code. I am feeding a good signal through Comcast but cannot get WMC7 to see the .1, .2 ect. channels. I can see them with QuickTV which came with the tuner. How do I get around the Comcast provided channel lineup?

Would it record to the Xbox drive itself? I have a...

The other thing to do is to not put your computer to sleep. How much time and effort is it worth it to you to troubleshoot a problem that may only be costing you a few dollars per month.

Thanks, I'll see how things go with the firewall turned off but it brings up the question as to why it works with the firewall for a length of time before losing the connection and why it connects at restart, both without adjust any of the firewall parameters.

So i reinstalled my OS and now the TV is perfect. I did put the OS on a 80GB SSD though... so I am not sure if that is why it is working good or if the OS just needed to be reloaded. I also have the 500GB HDD as my record drive so everything is working perfectly now.

Hmm, I guess so. It's also convenient not having to predetermine what tuners belong to which HTPC. My three HTPCs have the same access to the same tuners but I don't record TV all over the house either.
And should I replace or add a HTPC all that's needed is to run TV setup on that machine without...
