Hi there,
I'm after some information, my Hauppauge twin tuner just died after 7 or 8 year, so I’m looking at replacement. In looking around I have come across the HD Homerun Plus (HDTC-2EU).
I run WMC 8.1 so it would need to work for it which looking through the documentation it will. My questions...

I have used WMC with over the air TV and the Guide indeed works.

I have a perplexing problem. I have been in the process of moving to a new place over the last week. At the old place, I had two HDHR Prime's, and two HDHR-3US (dual ATSC/QAM tuners that were connected to an outdoor antenna).
At the new place, I won't have an antenna (at least not for now... I may...

I've omitted and reintroduced my HDHR several times while keeping the HDHRP constant. I've always done so by running TV setup. Can't you just go back in time a bit and take a simpler approach?
Do you mean that you didn't disable them in the HDHR Setup program? If so, then wouldn't that accomplish...

I have cable service from Charter which recently went to 100% digital in my area (Atlanta). At that time I just had the InfiniTV 4 PCIe and I notice that there were a couple channels on my cable box that did not show up in Media Center. Since they were channels I usually didn't watch, I did not...

Thanks for the responses.
I do have tunning adapters on both units.
I'll check the list of channels in the HDHRP's webpages . Does this list get populated by a load from the cable company? So I should see every channel in my package reguardless of the signal being high enough to actual tune to it...

Well we are trying to cut down the amount of TV we watch and removing channels is a good way to do that. I'd still like to record network shows so I want to keep WMC. Is the HDHR Plus worth the $50 upgrade from the new HDHR4 to receive OTA channels?

not sure of the status of your problem, but you could disabling that tuner for just the Fox station, then the other tuners will rearrange assignments automatically.
Yeah, that is what I ended up doing as an interim solution, until I can build a second antenna to get better FOX reception.

Does it work as a clear qam tuner?
If it does, how many tuners does it provide...

The HDHR Prime can be used for ClearQAM and has three tuners.
ok, so either I can go to 4 tuners or simplify my setup (and have a 2 way splitter instead of a 3 way) and have 3 tuners instead of 2 (or get another 2 way splitter and go to 5 tuners)
