Choosing video card for Comcast DRM/H.264 issue

Since a lot of us are affected by Comcast's switch to H.264 and the associated issues with DRM channels, I though we should make note of what setups work.
So, how about telling us what card you use and how well it works with these concerns:
0. what OS, video card, driver version do you use?

Seems like that the graphic card alone isn't the issue. At least I did not find any post saying after changing to xx it worked.
Also, strange that the XBox as an extender is unaffected.
I was going to try a GeForce Gt 730. I use a GT 730 in a Dell Optiplex 740, Phenom II X4, 3.3ghz, 8GB Ram....

As the title states I'm looking to purchase a remote control for my PC. I'm just looking for something that will launch...

Recently moved from W8.1 to W10 and installed 8.8.4. Great all is working (I don't record on that PC) but the Green Button doesn't launch Media Centre.
Any suggestions?

What is the best under-$100 card for my purpose?
Thanks!

As to whether your mobo supports TV, it all depends on the processor. It wasnt until the 4000 series GPU that full mpeg hardware acceleration was supported. So if you have a processor that has less than the 4000 series GPU, I'd look at using an external video card.
This page lists the various GPU...

Hi all,
I've had my rig since 2011, and as far as I can remember I've had this problem. I'd love to understand and/or solve it.
Intermittently, when I restart the computer it won't boot if the network cable is in. I get a single beep, it goes to the boot screen where it tells me to choose F2 for...

I haven't checked for a BIOS update for several years, no. That board's old. Yeah, 12/2011 is the last update.
I thought about the CMOS battery, but this problem has been happening since day 1. And it's intermittent. But you know, 8 years it that can't hurt anyway.
