So, I had the setting show up origionally, but they disappeared after updating the firmware. I uninstalled the app from the PC and reinstalled it, but they still don't show up.
Any suggestions?

Hi I am new to the Ceton products and will be soon building an HTPC with the InfiniTV 4.
I am planning on setting up a dual band wireless-n network to connect windows media extended devices to my main HTPC. I was thinking about getting (later this year when it is released) the Echo Extender, but...

DECA is a great, cheap alternative to MOCA ($10 per node). Same speed, but can't coexist with cable TV signals. Not a problem for us WMC and extender users. I have a house full of these, and they work beautifully. They're designed for DirecTV, but it doesn't matter. They still work great....

After getting my new InfiniTV 6 ETH up and running on my network (including having to have lots of quality time with TWC to get my cable authorized) and I still don't have a working tuning adapter); I hooked up my Echo.

Mine reboot crazily when I have grounding issues. Make sure you have the Echo and TV on the same (preferably 3-prong) power strip, and check the echo AC adapter plugged in the other direction (wide vs skinny slot on AC outlet).

One of my Echo's is on the 2013.320.1349 firmware. I'd like to roll it back to the last good beta which was 2013.304.1657 which is what is on my other Echo.
The IE screen won't show any earlier stable/beta versions.

Is there someway to reset the echo...

Did you get this resolved? I just bought an Echo that goes through all the setup except for the last step where it tries to connect (where it times out). I have a theme installed too. But my other 2 Xbox 360's connect fine. Try adjusting the router. Make a DHCP reservation for the Echo.

Did Ceton buy somebody else's remote to sell with the Echo, or did they sell it to somebody else to make some money?

Just a note that you should be careful with grounds. Otherwise known as a ground loop. Plugging one system into more than one circuit can cause this to no fault of the echo.
It can also be a sign that the wiring in your home may not be correct. Plugging into one circuit is the obvious and best solution but a little research and thought should be...

Looking for an Echo to harvest the flash chip from, to fix a brick. A damaged unit is fine, but a bricked unit won't work for me as I need a working flash chip. I really only want to pay $20-30 bucks so its probably only worthwhile if yours is taking up space in a closet somewhere.
