So, stuff like--
Codecs : A codec is a computer program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream or signal. (Wikipedia...

I am running WMC on 64-bit Win10. Have LAV filters installed.
But WMC can't play H265 files. Don't the LAV filters include H265? How do I add H265 codec?

IF MKV files play in WMC then it supports MKV containers.

I don't think so, at least not an apple HLS playlist. Do you know what audio codec is used in your stream? I think the two issues you will want to tackle are making sure WMP can play the file format contained in the playlist, and making sure WMP knows how to parse the playlist file and find the...

Having the issue as stated in the title. H265 encoded video works fine in Windows Media Player 64-bit but does not play within WMC.
I'm using Shark007's latest codec packs, which assigns H265 playback to the LAV codecs. Everything else works great so not sure what is happening here.
