Tivo Bolt+ Info - No OTA ATSC Support?!?

I heard that the Tivo Bolt+ was announced/released recently and since I was aware of the Bolt (4 Tuner) and it's support of both cable card and OTA/ATSC I thought I would take a look since I am a recent cord cutter (Win7 WMC still working well).
Guess what cord cutters, it looks like the new 3TB,...

It has a eSATA port if you want to upgrade the storage later. I'm definitely interested but at $1050 with lifetime, I can wait. Wonder how long until the 4K minis drop.

Well I moved from Va to IN to SC finally for work ahead of the wife. She recently moved down and the house is up for sale still with all my installed gigabit network. :( So I have pulled out my CableCard/extender setup and boxed it...

I agree with you. That's one of many reasons I still have cable too. But for my parents who couldn't care less about 5.1, it saves them $50/month over a comparable cable TV package. Sounds like the OP is also looking for a bargain.
That being said, $100 for TV, HBO and internet is almost certainly...

Has anyone experience of JRiver Media Centre? How does it compare to to WMC? Are there any issues with EPG?
I installed it on a Windows 10 virtual machine just to see the UI and functionality, but of course it is non-functional in a VM. Looking for a supported alternative to WMC that would enable...

Not considered DRM aspect. Guess I'll install JRiver on 30 day trial in Windows 7 and find out.
Strangely, the EPG in WMC has now started working today, without me touching it.
Would be used most for watching live TV via the PC, as the TV itself doesn't have Freeview HD tuner although it's an HD TV.

I'll start by saying I've had a HTPC running WMC since Ceton first came out with the 4 tuner PCI cards....I had pre-ordered it and installed it as soon as I got it building a HTPC around it. It took me weeks to get Time Warner to figure out how to get me a working cable card activated back then but...

Yes, I suspect that the Comcast network is insufficient for my neighborhood. The same thing happens when I am on XFinity Wifi anywhere within a mile or two from my house.
I will call them about it, but I am still angry either way. Less than 10% of advertised bandwidth is terrible.

Android TV is an excellent replacement for WMC. In fact, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV are not even close. Google has an app called Live Channels, which has a beautiful EPG. The guide data is always accurate. However, you cannot record from this guide, so why would I recommend this? Kodi. I...
