Before I go to eBay, does anyone here need either of these? The HDMI Detective does not have a power supply. I used it to resolve handshake issues between WMC and my receiver.

Both devices work fine; I've moved on from WMC and don't need them anymore.

What else can you do with these gefen hdmi detective boxes?

If you're WMC had a video adapter that had two HDMI out, could you get two screens going if you had two gefen detectives?

Or are these things just for amps

Haven't been in here in awhile and just saw this. Your right, they are pretty bullet proof little tuners, sucks they aren't worth anything anymore. I actually have two now just sitting here doing nothing. Guess I will try eBay.

Both of these cards have worked flawlessly. I recently decided to cut the cord and went to an Nvidia Shield.

Used on Verizon FiOS with Motorola M-cards... as I stated they both function completely perfectly with the latest firmware.

2x Ceton Echo for 160 shipped - One unit on firmware 2013.304.1657 stable and the other on 2013.320.1349 beta.
Comes with original power plug, usb cable, hdmi and working remote (Battery are very low on the remote).
One of the unit has a rubber that falling out. Unit never been opened.

I have 2 Echo's (latest firmware, remotes, AC adapters, work great)
I have 2 DSM-750's (latest firmware, 1 has a remote, AC adapters, missing wifi antennas, work great)
I have 1 - HP x280N (latest firmware, remote, ac adapter, works great).

Selling a few HTPC parts, and a Linksys DMA2200 Media Center extender. Everything is in clean working condition.
