Anyone out here in the bay trying to pull ClearQAM off of Comcast? What channels are you getting? I have an InfiniTV rig and would love to add more channels via ClearQAM, but I'm not sure if it is worth the effort.

Vote with your dollars. If your cable company starts encrypting the basic channels just because they can , then you should tell them in no uncertain terms how unhappy you are with that. Then, if you have another cable provider in your area, switch cable providers.

I received the recording cancelled message tonight for the voice and revolution. This appears to have happened by mistake in 2098, 2009 and 2011 that I can find so far. Is anyone else able to record NBC tonight?

Also props to the engineers at WCMH, as they were very willing to engage and resolve the issue quickly once we brought it to their attention.
I just got a vmail call from Columbus Insight (they still call themselves that). A guy left the message that THEY (Insight) fixed the problem on 4/29 and I...

Does anyone know how to get a Comcast CSR that can actually help with a billing problem. I have an issue with billing and every time I call I get a rep that just reads my bill back to me in very bad English and they don't understand the questions they just repeat the fees. I got the Subscription Required error message on my Ceton InfiniTV 4 machine yesterday. I was out for the day, came back, and in that span of 10 or so hours, it had completely lost the ability to access anything exception ClearQAM. The obvious problem would be a Comcast one, which I called in and...

It appears that every room had coax run through to it...
