Sounds like it may be a bad HDMI/HDCP connection. I would suggest making sure the cable is securely connected at both ends just to make sure that is not the issue. If you still have the issue, try replacing the cable with a known good HDMI cable. You can also try using another HDMI port on the TV...

Good morning,

Had to reinstall Windows and WMC after a catastrophic BSOD yesterday.

When trying to reorder channels within WMC, there are a few sharing the same channel number and I can't seem to move other channels up or down past these duplicate positions.

Can I reorder them in EPG rather than...

Hello so I love windows media center however they don't have cable cards or stuff like that to my knowledge would it be possible to use WMC with dish network can I get rid of the dish overlays when changing a channel also. Thanks for the help!

Careful, discussion of removing DRM is not allowed on this forum. (as opposed to discussion of exploiting the hole that exists for analog content that does not contain DRM).

A few days ago I started getting an error loading the mxf using EPG123 version 1.7.1.12 that's
been working OK for the past year.

So I updated to EPG123 version 1.8.2.2, cleared the cache, and still get an error loading the mxf.

1) Is there anything I can to do fix this?

2) Why is 1.8.2.2 doing...

I don't remember installing that. Just your WMC installer. Would running a windows update fix the issue? I turned off updates because they were messing up the WMC installation. I don't want to update unless I know for sure that it will be worth the trouble fixing everything.

Thanks Gary! That's the answer to my question!

I'm using v1.7.3.0 as shown in the code block in my initial post. Updating EPG123 wouldn't really answer my question but you did. Now my curiosity's been satisfied and I'm grateful.
