Due to the guide problems this year I have a bunch of movies that are presenting a blue/blank cover. All the text metadata is fine, but the covers are not.
Any way to make WMC recreate them? What I'm asking is probably not possible for WMC, as usually the covers are supplied with the flick when it is recorded. I need WMC (or another program) to find and fix the covers.

I used to know where the cover art cache folder was.
I bet it's mentioned here on tgb somewhere.
Is it shared with the hidden "dvdcovercache" folder? I'm not sure it is.....
As it's TV, it's probably under c:\programdata rather than c:\user\
My guess would be to delete the contents and let mc re-download them......
Not much help I know!

I think it depends on where and how you store your movies. If you put your movies in a Media Library Movie folder then you can store each movie in a separate subfolder and inside that subfolder you can put a movie cover in the Folder.jpg file. Both Windows7 and WMC will use the Folder.jpg file as cover art. I usually just grab an image from imdb.com for movies that I want to keep.
If, on the other hand your movies are in the Recorded TV folder, then you have to find the WMC magic cache place that is alluded to above.

Well after a quick futz with this I think it's a db problem.
Movie covers do show if you view the movie in recorded TV and open it up. Viewing from Movies / Movie Library is where the problem is, and I don't think that is a cached/saved cover problem.
