I have the cable card firmware update stalling issue. I have tried to update my InfiniTV firmware to one of the latest beta ones and I am not having any luck with that updating either. I have a Win7 64bit system with the first Gen Infinitv card.
My hardware version is 6829 and firmware is 13.10.28.177
Installer version 13.6.3.1088
InfiniTV driver 1.0.2.4
When I try to update my firmware on the Infinitv card from the system page it says the firmware is updating and says it may take five minutes. Well i can leave it sit for hours and nothing happens. Do I need to update my hardware first to a new hardware version? If so were can I get that, my diagnostic tool states I have the latest install.
Thanks in advance

The stalled cablecard update might be interfering. Shut down and remove the cablecard, then try to update the itv.
