Old TV's and Audio Systems

Just upgraded my Comcast package. Included was a free DVR (yes I know it's not really free). I don't really have a use for another DVR, and all my real TV's are in use. Went out to the garage to see what I had stored. I knew I had some TV's out there somewhere. I found some old stuff out there and I thought maybe the kids might want to see what we were watching when we were kids. I wonder how much of the gear we are using today will be around in 30-40 years

Found this nice old NEC CT-2660A, assumedly, imported from Japan-Assembled in USA. The TV has a date sticker August 1986. Still runs great, though not as nice as my 1080's.

While I was digging around in the garage, I found my old Pioneer SX-1250 receiver (1977-1979), Technics SL-1400 turntable, and a pair of Cerwin-Vega 12T's. It's been awhile since I listened to it. There's no substitution for cubic inches when you are listening to the cannon blasts of Master and Commander.

Now where is my VCR and Betamax?

I still watch a 20" Panasonic from 1988, do it every day. It works great, the XBox drives it fine, it fits the space, and the application is cheesy (treadmill time).
