Add Channel

I have an Infinitv 4 internal card with Comcast. They have recently added a new channel and I am trying to add it to my guide in WMC. If I rerun the tuner setup will I lose my series recordings? Is there a way to add this channel without rerunning the tuner setup?

I have searched and found a way to add channels using guidetool. Unfortunately I cannot get guidetool to work on my computer. I had it working at one point but now it will not connect. I have disabled all firewalls and I still get a connection error. So I can't use guidetool to backup my channel lineup. Without backups I really do not want to rerun the tuner setup. I have a very basic cable package and customizing the channel lineup after setup up is a real pain.

Nevermind figured it out.

I had the guidetool addin disabled in WMC. I enabled the addin and then I was able to add the channel using the directions I found elsewhere on this sight.
