Please advise on how to setup media libraries

Please advice How to setup media Libraries.
Windows7
This is what I’ve tried
Task
TV
Recorder
Media Libraries
Add folders to Library
On this computer
I see select folders that contain recorded TV in the box I see (C:) drive it has no check to the left. (probablley because the C drive doesn’t have recorded TV.

I see new volume E , F and G this is where the recorded TV is located they are checked to the left and have a + in the small box.

This is where I get confussed if I click on the + of either drive the + turns to - it lists the drive folders

If I click the + of each folder it turns to a – then I click next and get this message
No folders have been added no changes will be made.

Somehow the only recorded TV folder I have is a sample of landscapes.

Currently reduced to playing from explorer would prefer to have all folders displayed in W7MC.
