Updated to ATI CCC 11.9 and now desktop scaling won't stick
Hi
Anyone else having this issue? I updated ATI CCC from 11.8 to 11.9 and now the desktop scallng won't stick, everytime I resume from sleep I have two big black bars at the left and right of Media Center.
Cheers

Is it the ATI scaling that will not stick? What I do is make the changes that I want (usually my overscan settings) then reboot the pc. Otherwise my changes tend to disappear when resuming from sleep or powering on my receiver and tv.

Yeah the ATI scaling won't stick, I'll try setting it again and then doing a reboot.
Cheers

Stuart,
I'm still running 10.7 on my two AMD cards. I try every new release but since 10.7, they always manage to stuff something up.
I have the package zipped if you can't get a solution to this and are looking for something a little more stable.
I'm sorry it doesn't answer your original question, though.

I'd be interested in 10.7 if ATI isn't hosting it somewhere on their own site.

thanks for assisting my laziness ... I've looked half-heartedly before on ATI's site, but have not been able to find where they kept the older drivers.

It's good in that versions after .7 all seemed to introduce bugs.cw-kid wrote:Is version 10.7 really that good?dduk wrote:Stuart,

I think setting the ATI scaling again and then rebooting has fixed the issue. I put the PC to sleep and when I woke it up again the display was still sized correctly.
However I have moved this HTPC since I started this thread to another room upstairs connected to a 37" Samsung TV, it was previously in my living room connected to a 42" LG LED TV. Will keep an eye on it see if it happens again.
Thanks.
