Tuning Adapter doesn't work after resume from standby

Hi All,

I have a Cisco STA-1520 tuning adapter with TWC coupled with my Hauppauge DCR-2650. It works fine except when I put the MCE (Windows 8.1 32-bit) to sleep and the resume. The tuning adapter starts the 6-blink pattern indicating that there is a problem talking with MCE over the USB connection. Restarting the tuning adapter service does not fix it. After a while ( I want to say at least 15 minutes--maybe more) it will finally stop blinking and work. I have no problems with my other USB devices. In face the DCR works fine on non-SDV channels after resuming. I could also just restart MCE and it will work, but this is annoying. If the DVR goes to sleep and wakes up later for a recording, it wouldn't be able to tune the channel if it is SDV. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? I have the latest Hauppauge drivers for the tuning adapter (and the DCR).
