Puzzled by this one....
After a fairly major server upgrade going from Fedora 14 to Ubuntu 14, network tuners is no longer fully functioning. WMC attempts to tune any channel a gets a "Service unavailable" error
I am using the exact same network config as before and it is set up with ctn0 in a bridge with the physical network card and a few VM network interfaces. All the webpages are accessible and there are no firewalls enabled. The logs show the rtp stream set up and ports assigned. Everything looks like its working. I had the beta firmware loaded and then downgraded to the production fw from 2012 with no change in results.
It almost seems like the bridge is somehow blocking it. Thoughts?

This is likely an issue with the MTU size of your bridge/network driver

Its not an MTU issues as far as I can see, everything is set to 1500. I have had some time to play with it some more and I have it narrowed down slightly. It's a XEN issue. There is something with the way the hypervisor starts that fools with the networking that isn't readily visible. Something changed between Xen3 and Xen4. I tried to cheat by passing the card through to a VM and that just crashes everything. There is an issue with the IRQ assignments, the card and the xen-pciback driver. On the driver seize or VM assignment it throws an "Already Setup the GSI" and then kaput! Needless to say this is an "unsupported configuration," but that is also half the fun. I rebuilt the kernel to try and assign the card to the pcibackdriver at boot and see it that plays any nicer. That is tonight's project.

I have had some more time to play with this and I have to say I am befuddled. It simply makes no sense to me at all! The device is sending out garbage in a Xen Dom0 instance.
Current setup: InfiniTV4 FW 15.1.13.152 HW 6829
Brand new Asus Server Board with an Xeon E5v3 Haswell processor.
Linux Kernel 4.0 on updated FC21.

There is something with Xen 4.0 and up that breaks the video.
WIthout the "multiboot /xen-4.6.gz" on the grub command line everything works fine. If you boot into DOM0 its hosed.
I did packet captures on the receiving and transmit end of the RTP stream. They are identical.
Here is a typical packet on a DOM0, notice the payload section where is should be video data. every octet is "aa"
Looking for ideas. Thoughts?
Also trying to do an PCI-passthrough just results in a crash.
