HBO recordings are a grey sreen
I finally was able to get Verizon to activate hbo on my infinitv 4. however, while I can view it on my pc, it doesn't record anything but a grey screen. every other channel including showtime records as usual. anyone ever encounter this issue? thanks.

your cableco may have set HBO to have live watch permissions but not record permissions?

This sounds like some sort of HDCP issue. Verify your display and video card support HDCP, update your video drivers, swap them out, etc.
