Comskip waiting for available worker?

I have used the same version of comskip with DVRMS toolbox for over a year with great success. Now it rarely works. Looking at the FWLogs, it shows that the process has started but stops at "waiting for available worker" Anybody know what it is hung on? and how do I get the worker to work? A sandwich perhaps???
