[GUIDE] - InfiniTV PCIe Windows 8.1 passed to Windows 7 VM

I changed my 6ETH Back to DHCP and lost it so I started experimenting with the old PCIe card and it worked!

All I did was setup a network Bridge of the Ceton card to the VM. In windows 7 install the network tuner drivers and run the wizard from Media Center.

Bypass DCA http://missingremote.com/guide/override ... mment-form

Premium channels will only work on the extenders. But you can no run full extender functionality being windows 7 :)

Interesting. I had always wondered if that was possible. I'd be interested to see how stable it is in the long run.

Not sure I fixed the 6ETH I accidentally set DHCP server instead of DHCP client. Also the Echo died I got a NUC may put native win7 on it so far I've had a painful windows 8.1 experience on it but win7 setup hangs. WMC broke my activation then I installed something that made it completely unstable took me a bit to fix. I think I can do the USB key with the Ubuntu loader and have better success...

Plus my TV isn't really liking it wanting to upgrade (2007 plasma) :D
