Dear Ceton,
As it looks like you have given up on the hardware, please just create a software version of a Media Center Extender. I'm guessing you have the knowledge and expertise. You can write it for Windows, Android, Linux, or whatever. I personally prefer windows as I have more flexibility in hardware.
I know the PlayReady license is the key, which I'm guessing you already paid for it. Microsoft doesn't care about Extenders anymore since they no longer included it with the new Xbox, so they may be more open to a software extender than ever before. It also help protect your investment in your infiniTV.
