I have two of these, I am in the Seattle area, haven't used them in 2+ years! will goodwill them if no one wants them.

Yeah they're a bit fragile.
I have one I play music CD's from - gave up doing DVD's in it a long while ago. They hold 200 discs which is nice.
-Why not convert all my CDs to a more mobile format you say? Because I'm a lazy sob and I quite like the clanking a whirring of the unit when it's changing discs. A nice retro feel.
