Has anybody messed with timing/delay to improve on the button action? What settings helped you?

I've tried 100 and 500 but not sure if it's improved it. The problem I get is the Harmony One stores up multiple presses and you shoot pass the item you want.

Definitely isn't as responsive as the my old official Microsoft remote.

I still have my MS remote and I may go back to it. If it only had a few more programmable buttons.

I find myself pressing buttons and getting no response until I crank down on it.

Have you had a search around the Logitech forums for an answer? I couldn't find an answer so I'm just experimenting with different timings and delays. I find the buttons responsive but the stored up presses annoy me.

No I haven't checked their forums but that's not a bad idea. I think my issue is a combination of the buttons just suck plus the delay and saved presses. Like I said, there are times that I'm pressing the d-pad repeatedly and getting no response so I crank down on it just to get any sort of action.

What IR receiver are you using? I don't notice any delay in WMC using the Harmony One.

I remember many moons ago on an older version of Harmony One FW the delay was bad but they did address that. Are you running up to date?

Is the FW update outside of the Harmony SW?

I think I'll do actually do some research on their website, I'm starting to hate this remote. For some reason it didn't dawn on me that there might be a FW update, I hope there is and I hope it helps.

Eek!

Apologies, for some silly reason I edited your post to make my reply... I meant to quote you, sorry. I have deleted my text from your post above.

Anyway here's my reply:

No it's all done through the Harmony Software. You can check your FW level there.

I contacted Logitech and they are sending out a new unit. I have to say, changing delay to zero certainly has helped though.
