Thread of Themes
Is there a showcase / gallery thread somewhere that people post up screenshots of the themes they are using?
I'm bored of the standard W7MC themes so I wonder what else is out there to sexy the UI up

Might check into this page.........

I actually use restorator to access the ehres.dll and make my own changes, but that can be a bit complex.

This thread has some incredible stuff:

Lots of other front-ends there but but some Media Center too (pittsoccer33's is amazing).

Cheers guys, will check those out. Surprised not to see such a thread on here. Hack7MC seems to have stopped being updated?

Yeah, I like the default look myself and have never themed for fear of breaking something. What the guy did on AVSforum is pretty impressive though.STC wrote:I actually prefer the generic blue look. Pleasing on the eye and doesn't break when you tweak / install something.

^ Yes they do look great.
I only use MC for TV and some Internet radio. All my high def movies are on disc, no need for a movie front end.

Do you use a Bluray player for discs and streaming video (Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc.)?STC wrote:^ Yes they do look great.

Are you using Recorded TV HD?STC wrote:Yes I do now as TMT6 randomly messes up playback. It's not 100% stable for me. I have a smart TV for Netflix etc.
Whenever I try to install it, my TMT quits working inside MC.
I had to do a clean (OS) install after every attempt to rectify the problem.

Yes I run both together but didn't have RTVHD installed for some time and had TMT glitches. Same glitches persist. RTVHD works but disable the commercial skip visual cues in the search bar. That causes a lot of problems.
