Will Ceton My Media Center App be upgraded any more ?

#1

My Media Center hasn't received any updates in months so is it safe to assume it has been abandoned like the echo ?.
I use the app frequently and considering how it was progressing at the start I thought it had so much potential and it will be one outstanding app. Ceton should have a look at the work they are doing in Mediabrowser3 and considering some of the clients are still in alpha and are stable for everyday use it is remarkable.

They are planning to integrate live tv once that is done I wouldn't have any use for this app as their one will have everything that I hoped this app will have. Could at least channel logos not being displayed properly fixed ?

To whose media center are you referring? Certainly not mine.

I am not sure what you mean I was talking about the Ceton My Media Center ios App. As I have mentioned it works but it had no updates or bug fixes like not all the channel logos are being displayed and there are many of us who have this issue and it has been reported long time ago.

Ceton will update it in their own time. Motz, the guy who was working on it, doesn't work for Ceton anymore... so it will probably take a while (even longer than when he WAS working for them). Kinda like Echo updates... you'll never know.

Sometimes. Was this a while ago because I didn't see anything with a quick search through his recent posts?

Look at his signature. Read his blog. He doesn't work for Ceton anymore.

I still post often because I am active in the community in general and still use WMC and MMC all the time. I wrote a large blog post 2 months ago or so when I left Ceton http://www.motzwrit.es/post/64318146727 ... starts-now.

I know they just pushed out an android update and services updates as well so there is active development on MMC. I am still under NDA on all other stuff that I worked on obviously :)
