Change the Remote buttons for "Movies" and "Recorded TV"

#1

Hi, I would like to change the remote (channel up, down, numbers, etc.) for 2 buttons. Specifically for the "Movies" and "Recorded TV" buttons, I would like it to launch WMC addins "Media Browser" and "Recorded TV HD" respectively.

How could I accomplish this with the My Media Center remote?

Specifically, I want to replace the "DVD Menu" or "Movies" button (depending on remote) with this command line for MediaBrowser 3 plugin:

%windir%\ehome\ehshell.exe /nostartupanimation /entrypoint:{CE32C570-4BEC-4aeb-AD1D-CF47B91DE0B2}\{FC9ABCCC-36CB-47ac-8BAB-03E8EF5F6F22}

I'd also like to do this with the "Recorded TV" button as well for Recorded TV HD plugin:

%SystemRoot%\ehome\ehshell.exe /nostartupanimation /entrypoint:{7285f9d6-53b5-45a8-a445-ec6621df1d51}\{495cecbc-6648-4324-a299-85c182ab1ff0}

Unfortunately there is way for us to do anything like this in the MMC apps, we just issue the standard command to WMC.

So I "hijack" the remote control buttons for TV and Movies using any MediaCenter RF or IR remote. However, I can't override your program functions as I assume they are direct.

In a future version, can you perhaps add and if/then on those buttons for a registry override. Thanks!
