Component? Well I suppose it's broadcast quality.
/edit: If they record component, what matrix feeds them? Not 'tuners' in my book, rather 'inputs' so not really usable by JoeP, as the author suggests we all have one. We'd have to have 30 STB's with working component out continuously playing back one channel.
