Series Management Change/Move Priorities

I have like 150 series recordings. If I add a new series, it gets added as #151. If I want it to be #1 then I have to use my WMC remote, goto series, goto priority, page down to #151, highlight the "move up" icon, press Ok on the remote 150 times (sometimes this crashes WMC if I do it too fast), select done, exit.

Is there an easier way to change/move series priority?
Is changing/moving series priority possible in the MMC app? (I have iPad version)

I think better series settings control should be added to this requestion (see what I did there) as well. Things like when to start recording (it only has when to stop recording iirc) and other ones in the native WMC interface are missing from the app.
