I've been running Windows 7 on my WMC since W7 was released. Somewhere along the way it started having some stability issues (hangs on reboot, freezes during playback), plus it takes a longer time to reboot and start WMC - I suspect these symptoms may be "old age" and not a real problem with the system.
So I'm considering doing a fresh install - should I stick with W7 or go to W8? I'm running multiple Xbox 360s as extenders.
For those who have made the leap to W8 - are there any significant advantages or disadvantages of using W8 vs. W7?
WMC on Windows 8 or Windows 7?
