My current HTPC that I run all of the MC*/MCE environments from is starting to develop significant stability/support problems (older HW, Vista, etc.) How do I migrate to new HW? (I need to completely retire the old HW.) The catch is I have 6TBs of recorded 'stuff', most of which appears to be DRM-MS. How do I get the older recorded stuff to work on the new hardware (or on the MCE environments via the new HW?)
TIA ... FS

7MC will handle your older .DVRMS files as though they were WTV files.
The only issue is copy protected content, but if you're still running Vista, you probably don't have a lot of copy-protected content?

Foxwood ... Thanks for the quick comments. Unfortunately, it seems to all be copy protected (or at least 90%+) ... runs fine on the Vista machine and through the MCE devices but definitely not portable ... Hard to test but 7MC on a different machine could not play a copied version (I know the old DRM kept a separate file of permissions so that might explain it but if I change machines, that file wouldn't be there either.)

What sort of Tuner were you using?
