[FIXED]Windows 8.1 Preview - can not install My Media Center
I had a working install of the My Media Center software on my Windows 8 Media Center PC.
After upgrading today to the Windows 8.1 Preview (upgraded via the Microsoft Store) the service failed to work.
The software had reconfigured the IP address of my PC to 127.0.0.1 and I could not change it to the former and correct IP of my system.
I tried "repairing" the install but that did not do anything.
Then I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it with the latest version on the Ceton website and when I tried installing the software it said it did not support the version OS I am running.
I tried installing it with the compatibility settings for Windows 8.0 as well as 7, but both reported that my OS is not compatible.
Does anyone have any ideas on how else to install the software? Is anyone else having this same issue?

Note: It won't be until AFTER the Windows 8.1 ISOs are released which isn't expected until tomorrow at the earliest.

Good to know, now I can move on to getting some actual work done while you work on the patch/update.

(now if I (everyone) could just get streaming to a MCX to work on 8.1!)
