Post by adam1991 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 12:34 am

this may be the wrong forum, but I'll start here anyway.

Why did my XBox tell me this morning something about "Ceton Otay service has stopped, now returning to Media Center"?

It's the My Media Center plugin/service. Ask Motz over on that forum.

It's the My Media Center plugin/service.

I would uninstall MMC services, reboot, install service, reboot, should be good to go.

LOL...I actually meant where did it come from as it applies to Ceton. Is it an acronym or something?

I too have experienced the ceton otay crash but its been awhile since I have seen it happen. I'm using the latest services beta for MMC apps without issue.. I like the rest of you though the same thing about the little rascals and had to laugh a little when the error popped up...because something obviously wasn't otay...haha

As far as I know it's just a random code name and has no meaning behind it. That's generally true of our code names.

It's an affectionate name he uses for a family member, something just like 'snookawookums'.

Pretty sure that Mikinho's wife can (and would) kick your ass for implying she is snookie.

 ya, and she really doesn't resemble snookie at all... maybe as Mikinho was coding he came off a little rascals marathon or watched old episodes of SNL where Eddie Murphy played buckwheat? Only one man has the answer.. :?:
