I have an InfiniTV 4 on a desktop tower running that my wife does not like (windows 7). I am looking for an HTPC case to fit with the other components in on the cabinet shelves.
What is not clear is how the remote should be purchased. It seems that most do NOT come with remotes. The add-on remotes that I use now is just a card and a sensor on a wire that I had to velcro to the case. Not very pretty.
I am not looking for a slim or low-profie case. Full size would be fine.
Recommendations / advise please
Case with Remote or add-on Remote?

You might look into an antec fusion remote htpc case.
It has an integrated remote reciever.
I use an antec veris elite vacuum floresent display that has an integrated remote reciever.
Mounts in a 5.25" cd/dvd bay.
I don't use ceton cards though.
