I never really had much use for the add-in, but I can see how it could be useful for other people. Personally I think the add-in didn't go far enough. One feature that I would have loved to have seen would be some kind of alert system when something was awry, such as an expired subscription. I used to have a bad problem with my subscription expiring, which meant calling the cable company to get it updated (luckily I usually got someone that knew what to do), but unfortunately I was never alerted until WMC tried to record something and failed. It would have been nice to know about the issue before I actually needed to use the tuners.

I updated the drivers and noticed that it was missing. I thought that there had been an error in the driver install so I tried it again. Now I see that they removed it. I used it to check the temps of the tuners all the time. I added a fan to help with that though. It is gone now and I miss it.

How about a web interface like the Echo or SD HDHomeRun Prime? That would be great for the new ETH at least.

There's already a web interface. http://192.168.200.1 is the default IP...yours may be different depending on how you configured it.

Although I always knew of the web interface and I also know that you can find most of the same information in the settings/tv signal/ digital tuner diagnostics area of WMC, I am annoyed that the Ceton Diagnostics add in was completely removed. I liked how it made all the pertinent information easier to access through the 10 foot interface and was laid out in a better manner than the WMC interface and easier to reach and surf with just a remote...richard1980 wrote:There's already a web interface. http://192.168.200.1 is the default IP...yours may be different depending on how you configured it.

I really like the MC add-in. Easy way to check the status of 2 InfiniTV 4s. Other add-ins only seem to work with the first card.
