Hi,
I have an Hauppauge Nova S+ and Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate.
I have a problem: most of the configured channels are not visible in my WMC.
During configuration I have selected the Satellite (HotBird 13E , here Italy), the Universal LNB and Start a scan for All Transponders.
The result is that over 70% of channels found are not visible.
I have not understood how mediacenter search for channels: does it have a database of channels or does it perform a real scan ? In the first scenario. Does it exists a list of working channels downloadable somewhere ?

take a look at dvblink http://dvblogic.com/en its an extra expense but it will solve your problems

I whish to understand what is happening here and maybe wrote some code to solve id.
The main questions I have are:
1) When adding a Satellite TV Source where WMC takes the satellite config ?
2) What happen when manual scanning for transponders ?
3) Is there a whay to let WMC read a new and corrected satellite config file ?
