Well, I was leaning that way in post #55, but I guess I sugar coated it a lot more than you did. I hesitated to say it, but since you opened the door...
A novice user who recognizes his limitations might be able to use plain vanilla Media Center without any problems. The most difficult part is installing a tuner. The problem comes when a user thinks he is more technically-oriented than he really is, and tries to do things that are beyond his comprehension or abilities.
That's about as nice as I can state it.
