Sanity check: Intermittent audio skipping/blips?

#1

Has anyone else noticed skipping/blips in the audio when playing back Music (mp3) from their music library on the Echo? I have, and it is incredibly frustrating. I get little blips/skips every 45 seconds or so.

I haven't submitted a bug report yet because I am not sure whether it is the Echo or the digital-analog converter I have connected to the SPDIF jack on the echo (my amplifier only has analog inputs). I know it's not the amp since other inputs work fine. Unfortunately, I don't have a good way of testing the echo without the D-A converters...

I'd be interested in knowing whether anyone else has experience similar issues with the Echo so I can track down my problem and (if necessary) submit a bug report to Ceton.

The second number is the date. The last two were 129 and 206. Is it one of those?

For TV I haven't noticed this. My music is stored in FLAC so it will be difficult for me to test this but I think I have some MP3's I can test and report back but it won't be for many hours.
