Feature Request: Screen Sleep

I am a big fan of the app. It is well worth the $5 if you use WMC + Echos as I do.

I use My Media Center on a tablet that is used only as a remote for my TVs. If I want to use the app right now my only options are to lock my screen and go through the unlock process to access My Media Center or leave my tablet on and let the battery run down quickly.

Would it be possible to add a screen sleep and wake on movement and/or touch so that it works like a harmony remote? I know that this is outside of the core of the app and is only possible on Android devices, but it would be an excellent feature for people who use a tablet exclusively as a remote.
