What's battery life like in your experience? And fan noise also?

I used it mostly docked to be honest (it is a really great dock with HDMI and headphone out and an additional USB).
I would say battery is ~2.5 to 3.5 hours on it... depending on usage. Fan noise is a hefty purr on it overall, you can absolutely tell there are fans. I eventually will just list on ebay figure would see if anyone here was interested.
I would recommend if you want a beefy slate and want to do some real dev work on it. Ability to dock to and from is nice.

Yeah I was interested in it because full Windows 8 IIRC, plus digitizer. But with that battery life I gotta pass. The Surface Pro only has about 4 hours I think, so not far off from that (but a lot more $). I just gotta wait for more mature technology/better battery life I suppose :/ (or I might get that rumored nexus 7 1080p that is said to be coming )

I'm glad I'm not currently in seattle - I might have had to buy it off you.

Yeah, not impressed with that. Hopefully they'll do a hardware refresh when Haswell is released, but I can't see it improving it that much tbh.Motz wrote:Hmmm Engadget reviewed the Surface pro... Batter life: 3 hours 46 min
