HP Proliant Microserver as WMC headless?

HP Proliant Microserver as WMC headless?

Any idea how this system would do as a headless WMC box?

Specs:

Processor family: AMD Turion™ II N36L (1.3 GHz)
Processor cache: 2MB L2
Maximum memory: 8GB
Memory type: DDR3 UDIMM
Network controller: 1Gb NC107i Ethernet Adapter 1 Port per controller
Drive description: (4) LFF SATA; Non-hot plug
Storage controller: Integrated 4 port SATA RAID

I'm looking to run 4 tuners, 2-3 extenders, as well as some other small NAS duties. Will this system chug down on that kind of workload?

The proc scores 805 here: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup. ... +Dual-Core.

Yeah I'd say you'd get away with that spec.

2-3 simultaneous extenders would probably use up to 50% CPU, the tuners not a lot at all.
No need to worry about SATA throughput, even in a single drive config, although it's best to have a recording drive dedicated to the task.
