First connection nearly always fails

I have an odd annoying issue is that nearly always I have to click twice on the pc to connect it. First attempt nearly always says unable to connect. Please check connection or PC settings I click ok and then I try again and it logs me in immediately. The Win 7 htpc is connected wirelessly to the router and it is a iPad version of app. I have updated the app and service.

I experience this as well. Not all the time; but more often then I should.

This happens a lot to me when I'm connecting from outside my network. For example, I'll open the app and pull down to refresh the main activity page. I usually get blank responses for scheduled and recent recordings and recent recordings. It's almost like its timing out too fast. I usually need to refresh 2 or 3 times to get it to work.

In the next version I will increase the timeout for the initial connection to see if this fixes it up for you guys :)

@tad: if this is happening inside the app go to : Settings->Timeout and increase to 14 or 21 seconds.

Alright so the next version 1.3.2 will have a bit longer timeout in the beginning which should fix this up.

Installed the new update and it seems that it has fixed this annoying bug. Now if we could access the music and picture library it would be one awesome app.

Glad that it is working out better now. I think I moved the timeout from 3 to 9 seconds. Each connection/pc is different so better to take a little bit longer.

Also reviews on the app store would be much appreciated :) :)
