Replacement Tuner

#1

Post by Deuce911 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 11:11 pm

I had an issue and Ceton did an advance replacement and in 3 days I have a new tuner, thank you for the quick response.

Do I need to call the cable company again to "Re-Activate" my card since I have a new tuner or since I have the same M-card and the same computer I should be ok?

Once again thanks for the quick response.

The card will need to be paired to the new tuner. (Most cable companies require pairing, though rumor has it that some FiOS users can use unpaired equipment).

You will need to call them to pair the M-card to the new tuner card.
Once that is done you can move the two to another computer without having to re-pair.
