I thought I would let any Playbook owners out there aware of an android app called Remote Media Center. I have converted and side loaded, the on screen remote does not appear to work and I have to lock the info bar to be able to move back a menu but other than that it works a dream! I can browse, schedule and stream recorded TV, there is an updated RP server install that allows live TV streaming:
