Hi,
I am having a playback issue on many of my files. They are downloaded MKV files. Initially i thought it was a MKV issue. But i dont think it is. I have the splitter set up properly and audio and video are being streamed. I have also converted to multiple formats - M2ts, MP4, WTV, DV-MS and all have the exact same issue. The playback of audio and video starts for about 10-20 frames, then it freezes for 3-5 seconds, then another 10-20 frames then freeze another 3-5 seconds...over and over. Completely unusable.
Is it possible the echo does not have the horsepower to play these videos?
Here is an example video detail:
Frame Width 1280
Frame Height: 720
Data Rate 4078 Kbps
Total Botrate 4241 Kbps
Frame Rate 23 Frames/second
Audio Bit rate 162 Kbps
Channels 2 stereo
Audio Sample Rate 48 Khz
Video Play back issue

I don't have the Echo, so I may be asking as stupid question, but does the Echo support the content's frame rate?

I assume it should. It supports blue ray quality. This is far below that
