So over the weekend I replaced my cable boxes with a HD Homerun Prime. After a few hours of troubleshooting, I was able to get this working.
Unfortunately, it looks like adding live TV to WMC has locked me out of my network shares. My HTPC plays the role of my server as well and I have a bunch of shares on it where I have the "Everyone" user set to full share permissions. It was working just fine last week so the only thing I can think of that could lead to these issues is the live TV setup. Does that make any sense? I can access and write to the same folders if I use FTP. But if I use Windows Explorer to access the shares, I only seem to have read access. I confirmed that the permissions are still intact. Still doesn't help.

Sorry for not responding sooner. The move to Windows 8 messed up my security settings but I finally was able to clean that all up.
